I inherited a first-generation hand-me-down MacBook Air with the Micro-DVI port and I could not find a decent photo of the adapter until I found you. Ahand-me-down MacBook Air, eh? The notion suggests that the MacBook Air is no longer the “in” thing.

Hey Geoff! Yeah, I think there are some type of technical enhancements that show up with each new generation of video dongle. We mark the dongles, but we still lose one or two each year. If you figure out a way to attach a cinder block or tire to a dongle, let me know!

I refreshed my browser after my computer had gone dormant and somehow found myself on a newly redesigned Lucky Dragon website! Crazy no?

Glad to hear about the new car (Fit) and the music and movie recs. I’ll check out that CD..

Holy cow, something USEFUL on a blog!

I’m glad that when I upgraded to the last of the pre-unibody macbooks, I could use all of my peripherals (VGA dongle, Matrox Dualhead2go, TV dongle) The Mac laptops are excellent, but replacing peripherals with each upgrade seems a bit much. Does each generation of port enable new features, thus making the new dongles necessary? Or are they just forcing updates for updates sake?

And do you include “return to…” info on your label, in case you can’t make it back around / they forget and walk off with / etc.?
